These Terms of Service (“Termsâ€) govern your access to and use of contractguyapp.com, app.contractguyapp.com, and related Contract Guy services (together, the “Serviceâ€). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Contract Guy provides tools for discovering and reviewing opportunity information, including grants, funding resources, workforce or career training, business opportunities, and contracts. The Service also includes private contract marketplace features and AI-assisted contract or document information. Features and available sources may change over time.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and promptly notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity under your account. You may not use another person’s account without authorization or create an account using false or misleading information.
3. Opportunity information and third-party sources
Opportunity information may come from government, workforce, funding, training, business, or other third-party sources. Information can change, expire, contain errors, or differ from the source. You are responsible for confirming eligibility, deadlines, requirements, availability, and current terms with the original source before acting.
4. No guaranteed outcomes
Contract Guy does not guarantee funding, grant awards, contract awards, program admission, training acceptance, employment, financing, eligibility, business results, or any other outcome. Search rankings, match percentages, labels, suggestions, and other results are informational and do not represent approval, endorsement, or a promise of success.
5. Private contract marketplace
Users may post opportunities, provide business information, apply, review applicants, and update application status. Users are responsible for their own postings, applications, due diligence, communications, selection decisions, agreements, performance, payment, licensing, insurance, and legal compliance. Contract Guy is a platform and is not a party to agreements between users unless expressly stated.
6. Document analysis and AI-generated information
AI-assisted document results are provided for general informational purposes. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Contract Guy is not a law firm, does not provide legal representation, and does not provide legal advice. The Service does not replace review by a qualified attorney or other professional. Do not rely solely on AI-generated information when making legal, financial, employment, or business decisions.
7. Your content
You retain your rights in content you submit. You give Contract Guy permission to host, store, process, reproduce, and display that content as reasonably necessary to operate the features you choose to use. You represent that you have the rights and authorization needed to submit the content and that doing so does not violate law or another person’s rights.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use the Service to break the law; misrepresent your identity, qualifications, authority, or an opportunity; post fraudulent, deceptive, discriminatory, infringing, or harmful material; upload malware; probe or bypass security; scrape or overload the Service; interfere with other users; collect personal information without authorization; or use analysis features on documents you have no right to process.
9. Service availability and changes
We may update, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any part of the Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every source, posting, feature, or result will remain available.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, Contract Guy name, logos, design, software, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.
11. Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is†and “as available.†Contract Guy disclaims warranties not expressly stated in these Terms, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and availability. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Contract Guy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, opportunities, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains subject to applicable law.
13. Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address violations of these Terms, fraud, abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or harm to the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time.
14. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service changes. We will post the revised Terms and update the effective date. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.
